Actstream is the worship ministry of Acts Church. Actstream strives to be on the cutting edge of what God is doing in church. Currently, this ministry serves a total of 8 service plants in Malaysia every week. There are 200 people serving in this team, consisting of choir members, musicians, singers and sound engineers. Aside from weekly ministry, Actstream is also passionate about songwriting and have launched 5 EPs to date.
Pamela Choo had been in the designing industry for 10 years, working with clients such as Samsung, Uniqlo and UOB. Today, she works full-time in Acts Church as a merchandise business coordinator and also serves as one of the designers of the house. She has been producing visual presentations for her church leaders to use especially during their cell-group teaching. She enjoys training others who have interest in design but she never shy away from warning them that the future of a designer requires hard work and a thick-skin.
Charles Gambiza, ex national player for Zimbabwe Under 17 squad. Multi-talented sportsman with vast international experience in soccer, cricket and rugby arena. He is known for his passion for football and bringing cheer to the people through football and sports. He started playing football at young age and his passion has led him to represent the national team in the u17, u18 and u20 squad. Having represented his country and gaining much valuable experience, he was again led to do his bit of community give back by coaching the boys in Ryding School Karoi, Zimbabwe and conducting talks for the schools. Charles believes that sport is for everyone and it’s a great tool to build character and it inspires people.
|Dream Village Football Academy
In Dream Village Football Academy (DVFA), we believe every young person has a unique story and we aspire to inspire our young talents to build great stories and live their fullest potential. DVFA is the dream destination and grassroots development for boys and girls, aged 6-14 years old, who have an interest in learning to play football as well as those who are keen to pursue a career in football.
Alexaander J. Martin, has been involved in the church worship ministry since young. Started off as a bassist at 11 years old, he soon learnt how to play the drums, electric guitar and piano while serving at difference services in church. In 2004 he and friends formed Army of Three our very own local Malaysian Christian band who have travelled around Malaysia and Thailand performing at various Christian events and underground metal gigs with hopes of reaching the lost in the music industry with their music and testimony. Today Alex is the NewSong Music Asia’s coordinator, a creative arm of AYA & Acts Church. He is tasked to oversee all music album production, training and development of musicians in Acts Church.
Kanesh serves in the youth ministry of Acts Church and have been emcee-ing for numerous services and events for the past 5 years. He is known for his stage character, Varmaa, and has impacted ministries by providing comedic impressions and show hosting on stage. He believes in having good stage charisma as host to provide Experiential, Participative, Image-Driven and Connected (EPIC) experience for any events.

Full-time digital marketer, part-time wanderluster, lover of coffee and good stories. With a background in architectural design and social media marketing, Andrea dabbled in photography as a hobby, with no formal training in the field, soon discovering the limitless capabilities of a keen eye and a mobile phone.
Sarath is a typical Indian Macha who loves mamak, FIFA & lepak gang! Other than that, he also loves young-er people so much that he work with Alpha Malaysia in the area of Youth & Campus. Don’t judge him, he supports Arsenal. He is married to Muriel, since 2019. And they love to play board games.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes – you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.
|Pr Joseph Nesan
Rev. Nesan is pastor of a Tamil Congregation in Sg. Buloh, Selangor. He has been serving full time as a pastor and teacher for more than 20 years. He has received theological training from both Seminari Theoloji Malaysia and the Bible College of Malaysia. His passion is to help believers understand and communicate the gospel effectively. With regards to his theological persuasion, he is both Reformed and Complementarian.
Explain Apologetics was birthed from a frustration that although much has been written on Apologetics, there just weren’t many suitable resources available to meet the particular needs of the local church in Malaysia. Thus, with nothing but the conviction of wanting to EXPLAIN our faith better, Explain Apologetics was born, founded by Mark Tan and Samuel Nesan.
|Pr Joel Stephenson
Pr Joel Stepehenson has been composing music since the age of 12. He started performing as a rapper at the age of 14 at his hometown church in Ipoh. He then started making beats with different styles. The music genre he started venturing into are R&B, hip hop, Pop and original Soundtracks. At the age of 21, he started composing EDM & trap music. His favorite composition would be Original soundtracks for movies. He started his ministry at the age of 18 as a youth leader. In 2012, he left his hometown to be in KL pursue his music career and ministry. He attended Kingdomcity Church when he first moved to KL from 2012 – 2017. In 2015 he opened his own music production company at Kota Damansara. In 2017 he moved on to help one of his friend who is a pastor to pioneer a church he started called Dunamis Nation Church. He was the youth pastor there at Dunamis Nation Church KL. He was also in a group called D2X (rap duo) from 2015 – 2019. He has also travelled together with the Heartcore Tour (spreadheaded by Army of three) to do their openings as a rap performance in 2017. D2X have released 2 singles 1 one YouTube music video for 3 years. He then started his solo music career in September 2019 as “J-Stepz” and released his first solo singles called “Moving Forward” on November 2019 at all online music platforms. His solo music career as a rapper has just only began on 2019 and continuing to release more single tracks on January 2020 called “2020” and the following March 2020 singles called “Far Away” are upcoming future plans as a solo Christian hip hop genre.
Steve grew up in the UK but has since lived most of his life in Australia and South East Asia region. Married to a beautiful Australian with 2 grown up children who are both involved in missions full time. He has been involved in pioneering new works, youth ministry and leadership training of young leaders for over 25 years. Passionate to see this generation encounter God, disciple, trained and released into their gifting’s and calling. A keen road cyclist, enjoys the outdoors, photography and loves Malaysian food!
Youth With A Mission is a global missions movement dedicated to training, reaching out and mercy ministry. Focused on discipling and training young people to discover their calling and equipping them to Go for short and long term teams. Steve has been involved in discipling and leadership training of young people in the Australia / Asia region for many years.
Peter serves on global missions bodies ie. ETHNE, the official network for Unreached People Groups for the World Evangelical Alliance Mission Commission (WEA MC), and SEALink, the regional network for missions in Southeast Asia. He is also a Missions Associate with the WEA MC, and a Mentor for Lausanne Movement, Younger Global Leaders. He has a passion in social and personality psychology, and is trained in motivational and behavioural assessments, ie personality, thinking, behaviour patterns, and temperaments. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
MCGM exists to encourage the Malaysian Church towards a greater involvement in cross-cultural missions, and facilitate and provide a platform for networking (sharing of strategy, information and resources) in order to maintain Christian unity in missions, for His greatest glory.
